Things to do
Hi guys I’m Zac, I’m really into music so I go along to the DJing sessions at The Unicorns basement studio at The Colston Hall.
I really enjoy going to At Bristol and the planetarium. The Science Museum in London is really cool too.
I’m Alisha, I like to do some serious shopping! Check out The Mall at Cribbs Causeway and Cabot Circus in Bristol.
I like lots of stuff. 3D films, musicals like ChittyChitty Bang Bang at The Hippodrome, The Zoo, Blue Reef Aquarium and chilling in cafes! Paige.
The good thing about Out & About & Away is that you can go anywhere you like. How about some of these places Soft Play is great for kids with plenty of energy to use up and it’s a great indoor activity when the weather’s not so good. Jump is a Soft Play Centre near The Mall at Cribbs Causeway, Play Space is near Avon Meads and is a hugeand also has art activities and other play areas. In Little Stoke there’s Mayhem soft play at The Riverside Leisure Club and at Kingswood there’s Castaways.
There’s loads of sports centres in and around Bristol and lots of community centres have sports clubs. If you like the idea of sailing then running through the summer months is Sailing For All at Cumberland Basin. Bristol Zoo, The Blue Reef Aquarium and AtBristol are all suitable for children who use wheelchairs. The S.S. Great Britain is also accessible to wheelchairs as lifts have been installed so all the decks are accessible. The Bristol Hippodrome often has shows that are suitable for kids such as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and every Christmas they have a pantomime. The Tobacco Factory also stages kids shows such as The Travelling Light annual pantomime. If you really like the theatre you could join the Bristol Young Vic!
