Day trips
You can hop (or wheel!) onto a train and go anywhere you like. Cardiff isn’t too far away. For a really long day head for London. There are disabled changing facilities in Cardiff and London. Or enjoy a scenic train ride to Plymouth. If you’re nimble enough there’s always coach trips.
Retail Therapy
Undercover shopping centres are ideal in bad weather. The Mall at Cribbs Causway has lots to offer. There’s always Gloucester Quays. Ikea in Bristol has an underground car park so you don’t even have to get wet getting out of the car. In the summer why not head for Bath, or chill out at Cabot Circus.
Evenings Out
To see a Show such as a musical a Bristol Hippodrome or maybe just the latest blockbuster. Concerts, The Colston Hall is now extremely wheelchair accessible and even has the occasional free show in the foyer. Late-night shopping at The Mall Cribbs Causway or Cabot Circus.
Clubbing
There’s lots of nightclubs in Bristol such as Panache, Oceana and the O2 Academy. Pubs/bars and restaurants there’s masses of choice in and around Bristol. We can find somewhere with the right access, right prices and right ambiance for you.
