We are a Bristol based ‘not for profit’ organisation that was set up and is run by two carers, Julie Owen and her son Alex; both of whom have experience working in the NHS. The third member of the team is Angharad who despite her disabilities can’t wait to check out the newest nightclub or the next fun filled activity – check out her photo gallery!
If you’re a wheelchair user with a zest for life, or a child with special needs looking for fun and adventure, or even an older person who’s fed up with staring at the same walls we can put a smile on your face. Whether you want to see a show, visit a friend, go clubbing, attend a church, or have a fun weekend away we can help. We will organise everything for you. You can use your Direct Payments to purchase trips.
The services that we provide include Respite Care, Leisure and sport activities for children and adults with disabilities, holidays for the disabled, supporting adults and children with mental health problems to access community activities, and supporting adults with learning difficulties to live more independent and fulfilling lives.
We are totally ’client-centred’ in our approach and can guarantee all female carers for girls under the age of eighteen and women over the age of eighteen who either lack the mental capacity to consent to a male carer, or simply prefer to have female carers.
